Creativity is an activity requiring both close-ordered, attentive thought and a wandering mind.

It begins with a problem to solve or a need to meet. The problem becomes the anchor point around which we flutter, unable to entirely break free until we develop or uncover the solution.

Creativity is work. It produces something.
